  1. Jive Says:

I hate it when this happens. Some jackass is talking on his cellphone and scuffs the stylish but practical camo paint scheme you worked so hard on by wrapping his sunfire around your madcat’s foot and then the cops are all like “You can’t drive that here! It has unlicensed particle accelerators for arms!” Like they even passed physics in high school. Completely ignoring the cell phone issue. This kind of anti-mech discrimination can really get a guy down.

  2. I like the cannon smoke…implying the gun went off when it rear ended and caused some additional mayhem.

  3. max Says:

My favorite part is the little whisp of smoke. “Pay no attention to the smoking guns officer, get the guy with the cell phone.”

  4. Jive Says:

exactly! guns don’t kill people, people with cell phones kill people.. by talking on cell phones and forcing others to shoot them or bystanders… it’s king of complicated but Max has the right idea :)

  5. max Says:

Well I am not completely convinced that cannon only fired because of the impact, but you just should be able to enjoy a fun cannon spree without having to worry about some clueless dolt running into you from behind. That is just wrong.

  6. The ED 209 Says:

Unless that design changes you will be hearing from my robo-lawyers.
You have twenty seconds to comply.

  7. sabre tooth Says:

ah, i also like the image of leo having to shimmy down the robot’s leg to talk to the officer =)

  8. engtech Says:

I hate it when a cannon prematurely fires because of a sudden collision.

Once again Kenji uses Passive Depressive as an outlet for his angst.

  9. xander Says:

i would prefer to live or to let it die..coz’when we are not looking for trouble, just would be looking for us.

  10. EzminJ Says:

My cannons went off prematurely one time. My designer said it happens to a lot of mechs my age, and could just be a sign of the stress of past collisions.

I was actually picturing Leo test-firing the mech cannons willy-nilly into the distance when the car crashed into him. And then he actually had the courtesy to climb down and try to be reasonable when the cop came along.
