  7. honestpoet Says:

OMG that’s hilarious! I’d never seen your comic before today. Wonderful.

You got a big chuckle out of my ten-year-old son, too.

  8. jaybird Says:

    Panel 1:
Tracy’s sister: Ok now kids remember what
mommy told you in the car?
Kane: That auntie Tracy is a degenerate pervert and to wash our hands after we touch anything in the house?
Abel: That we’re only staying with auntie Tracy because you found out our last babysitter was on a registry?
Tracy’s sister: No, the other thing…..
    Kane & Abel: “Be good”!!

    Panel 2:
Tracy: So, what have you kids been up to these days?
    Kane: Not much…
Abel: Mom’s taking us to see Santa Claus tomorrow!

    Panel 3:
Tracy: Ooh. I had no idea. I’m so sorry.
Kane & Abel: What?!! What do you mean?
Tracy: You mean you don’t know? You don’t know about “Santa Claus”?

    Panel 4:
Kane: Sure we know about Santa. He gives presents…
Abel: According to wikipedia: Santa Claus, Saint Nicholas, Saint Nick, Father Christmas, Kris Kringle, Santy, Jolly Old Elf, Santa Klaus or simply Santa, is a mythical gift-giving figure in various cultures who distributes presents to children and adults, traditionally during the night of December 24, Christmas Eve, while everyone is sleeping. The popular American form Santa Claus originated as a mispronunciation of Dutch Sinterklaas…
Tracy: Tsk, tsk, tsk… That’s the company line. I guess I’ll have to burst your bubble with the ‘real’ story.

    Panel 5:
Tracy: Santa Claus, despite what public encyclopaedias might claim, comes from the legend of Sintu Cloven.

Sintu Cloven, according to the ancient tales, was a terrible man-goat beast that constantly hungered for the flesh of children. But, as the story goes, Sintu Cloven never stole a single child – no the tale is more terrible than that. You see Sintu Cloven did not take the children, he bartered for them. It is said that Sintu Cloven would bring almost any gift to parents who were willing to trade away their children. Parents, who often had at this time more children then they needed, would write what they wanted most in the world and hide their notes in the pine trees at the edge of the man-goat’s forest. Then, in the dead of night he would creep through the foothills and slip into the Shepherd’s houses through open windows or chimneys, collecting the traded children in his giant sack and leaving the agreed upon gifts.

Yet stealthy as Sintu Cloven was, and as discreet as the greedy parents were, sometimes children would become suspicious. But these few questioning youths were quieted with the promise of a benevolent white bearded elf carrying gifts to them. And so before bed the hapless younglings would unlatch their windows or put out their fires, and even leave biscuits or goats milk, easing the way for their own terrible demise.

    Panel 6:
Tracy’s sister: Hi Tracy. So I took Kane and Abel to see Santa today at the Mall.
    Tracy: Ya…?

    Panel 7:
Tracy’s sister: We had a bit of trouble…. you wouldnt know anything about that would you?
    Tracy: Why, what happened?
Tracy’s sister: Abel bit off his ear and started stomping on his groin while Kane cried out “return freedom to the lost children of the sack”.
